Hello fellow Airstreamers!
This winter has been a long one in Montana! It seems like Spring is finally going to rear its head and bring warmer temps. Our first campout of the season will be in our President’s backyard celebrating his 80th birthday. Check out April’s Newsletter for details.
“Keep Streaming” and we’ll see you down the road!
It has been a few months since my last post so I would like to say Hello to a new year of safe travels. The winter has been rough this year in Montana with many below zero (F) days! The snow has been flying but it looks like warmer temps are on the horizon. We in the Montana Unit hope everyone is having a safe and fun winter and look forward to warmer days and travelling again.
Merry Christmas fellow Airstreamers! It’s nice being back in Montana after spending 4 months in Nigeria. I am actually enjoying the cooler weather! We here in Montana wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and better prospects for the upcoming New Year. Keep your fuel tanks full and enjoy your holiday travels!
Hello fellow Airstreamers!
I hope everyone has gotten their trailers winterized if you live in the colder climes like us in Montana. This could be a hard winter if you have been listening to the forecasters. I miss the cold weather, working in Nigeria. The summer months are coming and it is starting to heat up. With the high humidity, it is pretty uncomfortable. I will be coming home for the Christmas holidays and am looking forward to seeing my friends in the Montana unit. If you are traveling this winter, I wish you a safe trip and hope you have a great time. Until the next post, “Keep ‘Streaming”!
I hope everyone had a great summer! Mine is still on the way here in Nigeria. The temperatures are starting to warm up from the low 80’s to the mid to upper 80’s with 100% humidity!
The Montana Unit just came back from the Hands Across the Border Rally. Due to other commitments, only 2 trailers made it to the rally in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada from our unit. I really wish I could have been able to go, but my job assignment here in Nigeria prevented me from attending. Be sure to check out the Activities page for upcoming events and the new News page for club information. I have added pictures from the HAB Rally on the Gallery page, also.
For those of you who would like to follow my progress here in Nigeria, you can go to:
See you next month!
With the summer winding down, I hope everyone is enjoying the use of their trailer. This month has been busy for the Montana Unit. With The Old Fiddlers Picnic event in Livingston and the Ol’ West event in Missoula past, we are looking forward to our Hands Across the Border Rally in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. I hope many of you will be able to attend. Information can be found on this site on the Activities. Enjoy the rest of the summer and Keep on Streamin’!
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. The weather has been hot here in Montana, but the occasional thunderstorm has kept things green.
With the International meeting behind us, there are a few events coming up that should be fun. The Old Time Fiddlers Picnic and the Ol’ West Fest should be good time if you’d like to attend. Details can be found on the Activities page.
Our latest newsletter is out and can be found on the Newsletter page. Until next month, keep ‘Streamin’!
With a little more work I’ve been able to make this site compatible with mobile devices. So everyone with a smartphone can now access this site.
I hope this makes things easier for the “techie” crowd!
You can now post your comments and keep us informed of your Airstream Travels.
I hope you enjoy the new format!
